  • The OG Smooth... (i.e.) Operator

    Smoothies have been a more or less staple of my morning since I got Vivianne, my beloved Vitamix, 5 1/2 years ago.

    This is the OG bad mama jama

    The OG Green Smooth... (ie) Operator

    1 cup coco water

    1 tbsp fresh ginger (optional and/or to taste)

    1 tbsp flax (or chia or supplement of your choice)

    ½ cup bananas (basically half of a medium sized banana.  Side note: bestest if frozen at ripe)

    ½ cup cucumber (basically 1 organic persian cucumber from Trader Joe's)

    ½ cup frozen blueberries

    2 big handfuls of spinach

    Put ingredients in blender in the order listed above and blend until smooth… ie!!! ;)

    Should yield about 20 ounces give or take.  Enough for 1 large smoothie or 2 smaller ones.

    Pro tip: You can use fresh fruit, but try to use at least one frozen, that’s the texture trick my friends!

    Welcome!  Finally getting around to this.  Really just wanting to collect some of the fun and interesting things that flow into my life!
